Our chata AURORA you can found on a mid-way between the Velka Upa and Pec pod Sněžkou on the southern slope of about 100 m above the main road. Cottage is built in classical style of Krkonoše. It offers a quiet environment suitable for family recreation. You can have the dog (after you contact us). Chata Aurora offers accommodation in 2-3 bedded rooms. Social facilities is common. Shower and toilet on the ground floor, the toilet and bathroom on the first floor.Hosts cook for yourself or they may use the services of the surrounding restaurants. The kitchen is equipped with gas and electric stove, kettles, fridge, freezer and microwave oven, for each room there is a box with dishes. The dining room also serves as a common room which is equipped with TV, SAT, DVD player.
The cottage is one of self-maintained parking lot, which guests can use free of charge during your stay.Altitude cottage is 833 m n.m. In winter there are excellent conditions for downhill skiing and are regularly maintained cross-country trails. Municipal Skibus remote is 5 minutes walk from the cottage. In the summer months can be used marked hiking trails, mountain bike lovers can make use of marked cycling routes. Directly on the cottage is an area to rest and sports activities - ball games, petanque, a small outdoor pool. Is there a small fireplace and grill can be rented. You can borrow in the surroundings to ensure the wheels, use of tennis court. In Pec pod Sněžkou can be used indoor swimming pool, rikochet, bowling, squash, bobsled. BUS - Pec pod Sněžkou, 1 km further towards the Velka Upa. Cottage is half way between Pec pod Sněžkou and the Velka Upa.
Local bus stop (Pec p. Nachází se v údolí řeky Úpy, Zeleného a Lučního potoka, v překrásné přírodě mezi okolními vrcholky Černé hory (1299 m.n.m.), Jeleního vrchu (1024 m.n.m.), Liščí hory (1363 m.n.m.), Studniční hory (1554 m.n.m.) a Sněžky. Hraniční hora s Polskem Sněžka je svými 1602 metry nejvyšší horou na území České republiky. Součástí Pece pod Sněžkou je i sousední Velká Úpa a početné horské osady a samoty zasahující vysoko na hřebeny. Celá oblast města se nachází v Krkonošském národním parku Název souvisí se založením pecí na tavení železných, arzenových a měděných rud, které se v Obřím dole těžily od 16. do 19. století. Vyhledávaným turistickým střediskem se Pec pod Sněžkou stala po první světové válce a původní hornická osada se postupně přeměnila na vyhlášené centrum cestovního ruchu. Zásadní význam pro další rozvoj města měla výstavba dvou úseků lanové dráhy Pec - Růžová hora - Sněžka realizovaná v letech 1948-50 a následné vybudování systému lyžařských vleků a sjezdových tratí. Pec pod Sněžkou je přirozeným centrem východní části Krkonoš s poměrně dobrou vybaveností a vlastní neopakovatelnou atmosférou, kterou by si žádný turista neměl nechat ujít.

Have you been here? Great if you know what you’re getting into. I know Slunečnici from the so-called socialist era, and it’s important to remember that it hasn’t changed much. Wifi and sauna are great, but expect bunk beds, low ceilings and generally that homey environment from a cottage.
